  1. This team when they played Portland is a different team now. The young players have improved in front of my own eyes. Castle and Harper will be all stars. I don't care what they say, if D fox wasn't playing the spurs would be up 3-0 now. He's terrible

  2. Wembanyama's maturity is astounding. Heck, I love the thoughtfulness and intelligence of all the Spurs' players. It seems to be a continued tradition from the great team of Duncan and Parker.

  3. Knicks need to set KAT up with plays. Too much Brunson one on one and being careless with the ball

  4. Wemby is sneaky and he laughs when he gets away with fouls. He needs to mature and he will go far. Knicks are a great team. Refs need to really watch the foul calls. It’s crazy.

  5. Commentators keep mentioning how supportive, loving, and loyal NYC fans are. What they fail to mention is that while winning for NYC, makes you a GOAT, losing makes you a goat.

    Forever.

If this Knicks team loses this Finals after being up 2-0, they will earn eternal infamy and resentment from the NYC fans.

  6. Knicks are rushing. Also, because Wemby is such a presence I think once Brunson feels he has gotten even a little past Wemby, he gets very eager to get to the basket, sometimes getting caught in the air and or with no plan. From my point of view, the Knicks have to get into their half court offense. This team became its best version of itself when Brunson wasn’t ball dominant and wasn’t as tired/could play off ball and there was a lot of action going on (back screens, multiple cutters, etc.). The way things are going now, defensively, the Spurs guards can be ultra aggressive because Wemby is just playing free safety again and I think a lot of that has to do with the Knicks not executing their elite beautiful, sharing the basketball offense. I also think with this team when their offense gets going, their defense gets better. Maybe that’s because they demoralize other teams or maybe it’s because they’re all touching the ball on offense.

  7. Just a thought. Alvarado had success last night cause you could push the ball and get it over half court without wasting much time on the clock. What about having him bring up the ball sometimes with Brunson at the two. Then they can get into their offense and utilize KAT at the elbow. Part of the problem is I think the Knicks are playing right into their hands by making them Brunson dominant again —also by the time Brunson gets across half court there’s really no time to get into their half court offense. Defensively I don’t think they played terrible. I think they turned the ball over way too much and I think obviously the refs put Spurs in the bonus early in the fourth.
