I love throwing them overhand like a windmill but its not good for your arm. Its the best way to get a straight trajectory. Then you just have to correct the distance.

Ever since Curry changed the game, I can't wait for the All Star half court shots after practice each year. It looks so fun out there with the super stars throwing up heaves like its nothing. With the ball boys returning the balls too. I can't imagine having the core strength and shooting accuracy to make those half court shots.
