I saw this noti and thought I missed game 2
Normal = Spurs Basketball, Sharing The Ball from Good to Great and Defense Defense Defense
Trade lebron giannis kd and curry to the spurs
Bro, why the hell does the NBA put so many ads on their videos man? What the hell?
Where is the hate for the many trips that San Antonio makes to the line?
I am not disrespecting Fox but for this series Harper starting Fox coming off the bench may be a better choice. Fox obviously is not 100% as you can see he does not have the burst he has when he is healthy. It will be better for him to deal with 2nd units and scoring on them (like Shamat, McBride) then Hart (who is much bigger) or being tired from switching Brunson. Hopefully, the coaching staffs wake up and make right adjustments
Suerte SA !!!
🇪🇸🇪🇺
They kept forcing Wemby out the paint, the Knicks played two bigs at the same time, why not the Spurs. Let Wemby stay in the paint and let Kornet set screens
The Spurs will easily get back on track. You saw it in Game 1. Yes, they lost the game, but the Knicks didn't do anything extra special to win. I see a better team in the Spurs, just going to be smarter and naturally play better together and play to their level strengths, matchups, and mismatches. Go Spurs.🔥🥶😤😎🧠
Some of these reporters ask the dumbest questions
Castle is a difference maker imo
I cant watch this full of ads video! I cant listen properly because of the ads hahahahahah
Knicks fan here. Must say listening to these players they all seem to be good quality people. Wish them well, good luck!
The biggest coaching mistake was taking Dylan Harper out in Game 1, especially since he was starting to get in the zone.
How about them KNICKS!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
stop the french
they have to take those cups and celebrations off wining a semifinal. been a fan of the nba since i was 10 and all my life i saw so many teams being stocked for wining conference finals
Pff.. Allez les spurs allez🏀❤️❤️🏀🇫🇷🇫🇷🙏
24:00 🇫🇷👽French journalist : Hello Victor, I get the impression that there’s no team better than yours when it comes to responding after a loss and winning when your backs are against the wall. Do you agree with that and how do you explain it? What needs to happen for you to stop being a "reactionary team"—a team that only finds solutions after running into problems? Even if you're the best at it, it can be both a strength and a weakness.
Victor Wembanyama : Definitely. I completely agree. I think it's due to both our lack of experience and our youth, especially since we're playing against experienced teams. To me, the two best examples are Minnesota and New York. They understand how fortunate they are to be in the Finals, and they know it's not guaranteed they'll ever get another chance like this. As for us, we're kind of like spoiled kids. For some of us, it's our first season—or one of our first seasons—and we're already in the Finals. We don't fully realize it yet. And to me, the team that appreciates the position we're in the most will be the one that wins.
30:09 Another french journalist : A question slightly outside of Game 2. When you were in France, you used to talk a lot about Kobe Bryant and how much you were inspired by his his relentless work ethic and mentality. Is that still the case today? And is that mindset even more crucial in the playoffs and the Finals?
Wemby : (long pause) I'd say that with age—even though I'm not old—and with all the experience we accumulate, I learn a lot. We learn a lot from the different people around us, and in a way, I'm building my own philosophy. 👽
KNICKS IS GONNA CONTINUE TO WASH THEM
Mitch totally blew it . Absolutely refusing to let Harper play critical minutes in the 4th as Fox continued to stink it up. This ones on him. He gets an "F"for stupidity. Oh, and part of sports is venting and pointing fingers. That is what makes sports great entertainment!
GIVE DYLAN HARPER MORE MINUTES
GO SPURS GO
I Love the chess ♟️ move at last night game my Spur's play better then that Victor-y Castle is a beast and hungry for this win so I know the Spur's will take the trophy 🏆
If Fox was playing good Spurs would win the game but he keep turning the ball over.
just set off-ball screens to get Wemby under the rim.. I wanna see a slalom alley oop dunk
Gotta play Harper more
Coach lost that game.
Stephon Castle explicitly stating that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a tougher cover than Jalen Brunson is a massive quote.
It shows a few things about where San Antonio's head is at:
Battle-Tested Confidence: Coming out of the Western Conference gauntlet, Castle is essentially saying they've already faced the ultimate perimeter test in SGA.
Tactical Shade: While Brunson is elite at using angles, deceleration, and footwork, SGA's combination of length, pace, and foul-drawing is a different animal.
Castle minimizing Brunson's difficulty level is the exact kind of swagger you want from your lead point-of-attack defender, even if it provides instant bulletin-board material for the Knicks.
The collective sentiment that the Spurs believe they are outright the better team is just as important.
They clearly don't view the 105-95 loss as the Knicks overpowering them; they view it as a self-inflicted collapse.
When a team attributes a Finals loss strictly to 4th-quarter execution rather than a talent gap, they usually come out in Game 2 playing highly aggressive, desperate basketball.
They know they just need to clean up the late-game turnovers and defensive lapses rather than completely overhauling their game plan.
NY is about to feel the wrath. Barely won with a poor shooting night from the Spurs. Spurs in 6
The world wants spurs
44:50 Lol if you say so Stephon.
DeAaron fox was horrible in game 1 that is unacceptable
San Antonio would have had a 20 point lead if they hadnt had rushed to get a 3 pointer off..early in the shot clock..also quick 3's off transition. put New york back in the game..quickly..pass.pass pass first SA and you will be fine..
that dude in the background calling out the locations of the reporters during julian's interview needs to calm down. lol
Game 2
GO SPURS GO
23:50 wemby
The Spurs are better, but they must have come in fresher; the Knicks are well-rested. Despite that, they played well, but a scorer who plays 38 minutes can’t score 7 points in a finals game. The same goes for another player who can score 30 points in a game but only scores 9. How can you win by scoring 16 points between the two of you in an NBA Finals game? The others did their jobs well. You can’t ask Victor to win a game all by himself. We need to give Harper more playing time; he can drive to the basket. Against OKC, two guys scored 15 points while playing 3.5 times longer than Keldon, who scored 15 points. That can’t work every time.
Dylan needs more mins!!! His game IQ is 🔥 Wemby gotta get closer to the basket some times and box out for the guards.
More minutes for Harper. Less shots and minutes for Fox.
KNICKS IN SIX
What is a basketball game, and shouldn't we let ourselves be distracted by other considerations? It's like in soccer, and even more so in a final—after all the effort it took to get there, it's the number of points you score that counts. Everything might be important, but that’s the bottom line: you have to make a minimum number of baskets to win. If Fox is on the court, it’s first and foremost to score baskets, just like Vassel. These two guys together—as sometimes happens in other lineups, with a Champagnie thrown in now and then—score only 16 points, playing 38 minutes and 36 minutes. They each need to score at least 16 points per game, especially in an NBA Finals game. If they’re tired—which is understandable—they need to make way for Harper and Keldon. Otherwise, the others did their jobs for the most part. The coach is at fault, because it’s hard to win when a supposed scorer scores just 7 points en 38 mn.
This loss worries me. Knicks just know how to beat them and I’m not sure Spurs will have enough answers.
Go Spurs Go! Let´s go San Antonio!
Go Spurs Go
Why are t by ey having to do this when most of the questions are stupid when they need the time to rest, watch tape and practice.
This team always answers. That is one thing true every time they have had to face adversity this post season.
