It's easy to blame Wemby for the huge turnover and missed last shot. But give the entire Knicks players and coaching staff credit. Mitch is getting outcoached while Brown is making the key adjustments at the right times. We have to admit Mitch is new to this situation too. The Knicks bench was huge and the Spurs bench was bad again. The Spurs are young and dealing with growing pains against a veteran, talented and dialed in Knicks team. Castle having a bad game was a bigger key than Wemby mistakes. Spurs lose by 1 and he essentially is on the bench for half of the third quarter. Yet once again Ref Brothers hit him with some fouls he didn't deserve and other times didn't give him fouls he deserved. Not in every case but it's true. Regardless, it's going to be a mighty task for the Spurs to dig out of an 0-2 hole. They have to win game 3 at the Garden or I see a sweep. I like both teams but want a long series. Damn!

He should have said thanks be to the refs for helping come back from 14 down. Phantom calls against Karl to get him out of game, allowing Brunson to be butchered all game long, calling b/s tech on Robinson, and what calling only three fouls against SA in the whole second half. Two of were called as a result of challenge and the other was deliberate by SA, because they had one to give. The lop sided calls for SA is clear and obvious, and will be the end of the sport. Tony weathers is incorrigible. He needs to be investigated, because he doesn’t call fouls on SA when in position to do so, or calls fouls against Knicks when out of position to do so.
