I was so sure before the draft that Acuff would go to Nets or Clippers and Wagler would "fall" to the Kings and be the wrong player for them. Kings need a pit bull leader and Acuff was the best for them so I'm glad he ended up there.
I knew this Wegler guy isn't it. Baba Miller is going to be better than him. The Wegler kid is too soft for NBA and he doesn't have a NBA game for the 5th Draft pick
I don't know if Wagler is having a hard time or if he's playing like he already made the team. Either way, it's a sure fire way to find yourself at the end of the bench.
Talk about polarizing. The Acuff debate will carry out throughout his career. Can his style win a championship? Reminds me of Iverson and Carmelo, great players super flashy, but can they win you a championship?

Happy we have drafted Acuff at 7. Although he has shot like crap, he has good flow on offense and can run the half court sets.. For Wagler, I would like to see him be more aggressive next game, summer league is the time to take at least 10 shots a game when you are a lottery pick. Maybe the Clippers will run more sets for him, off ball screens to free him up to shoot, etc. Can't over analyze 1 game for a 19 year old
Acuff is ass. 6/20 with 4 TOs to 7 AST. He's going to be Sexton / Scoot not Brunson.

Everyone who says that teams passed on Acuff migth be rigth, but those teams knew what they where doing. Acuff does not have alot of room for growth. He is good now, but the thing is he cant get much better. Other players like keaton and mikel are sure to surpass him in a couple years even if Acuff is playing better now

Acuff has proven to be more NBA than the others and he hasn't lost a step but he doesn't get the credit and people still trying to find criticism of Acuff but other players who suck like Wagner have people capping for him saying it's his first game yeah Acuff first game he had 25 points but got criticized for poor shooting Wagner look like a high school rookie people are saying he is 19 yr it's his first game so Acuff don't get the same reasoning, it doesn't matter he still doing his thing since leaving Arkansas and he is going to get better now that's scary.
I dont see what the Clips see in Wagler, but i trust they know what theyre doing??
