I know, I know, that sounds really strange, but its true. To get a tryout for the NBA D-League, you have to pay a fee. Simmons payed the fee and tryed out, he made the team. After impressive play in the D-League, Simmons was signed by the San Antonio Spurs and since then he’s been a great player. Overall, Simmons is a very complete player, he’s really solid all around.
