What a pleasure to watch…like the Warriors of old. At least in the 3rd and 4th Q's…Movement, defense, inside, out…always working for the best shot. I like it.
* Keys to GSW's 2nd half turnaround:
1. Kerr switching from 1-2-2 zone to Box-and-1
2. Deploying Poole to attack Dame into foul trouble
3. Reduce empty possessions by attacking the paint and minimising turnovers
~ Box-and-1 negated Dame and reduced his impact. Without Dame and the injured Simmons, Portland had few other options and went on scoring droughts.
~ For those who were screaming at JP for dribbling too much, his part in sitting Dame was hardly talked about. No other Warrior had handles to take on Dame.
~ Portland had no rim protector, and scoring high percentage 2pt shots in the paint means they will consistently close the gap on every possession.
This is a game that showcased Kerr's maturity as a head coach who is now less dependant on his assistant coaches. Mike Brown used to make those defensive calls, now Kerr is making them himself.

It's a pity DVD wasn't coached to this level of performance while with the Bucks, they signed him for his potential, but couldn't actualise it, while the Warriors could.

Teams forget that warriors are really good at home and they play beautiful basketball
They have been shooting too many threes all season. When they miss the other team, get an easy basket at the other end. Again, that's coaching. If the players don't want to hear sub them and let the young guys play. After all, you are still losing when you keep the senior members out there doing pure nonsense. They are way too good to be playing so bad so long. It almost looks deliberate right now, to be honest.

Old Klay has been showing out lately. If he is back to himself I have no doubt they can make a legitimate playoff run.
Nuggets and suns will be tough for any teams in the west but I believe Warriors can put s big fight against them.
I wouldn't sleep on the warriors. Whoever they meet in the playoffs will be a problem. I think they can beat The top 3 teams in the West but they just need to tighten up the defense more.
