Also, aggregate demand measures many different economic transactions between millions of individuals and for different purposes. As a result, it can become challenging when trying to determine the causes of demand for analytical purposes.

GDP (gross domestic product) measures the size of an economy based on the monetary value of all finished goods and services made within a country during a specified period.
