The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the New York Knicks, 113-105. Trey Murphy III led all scorers with 31 points for the Pelicans, while Brandon Ingram added 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in the victory. RJ Barrett tallied a team-high 28 points, along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the Knicks. The Pelicans improve to 42-39 on the season, while the Knicks fall to 47-34.

I like the Pelicans. They are a very talented young team. Once they learn to move without the ball and set more pick and rolls, they will be able to take their game to an elite level. Too many turnovers and not enough assist at the moment.

We would have won if RJ didn’t play. The Knicks lost their fluidity in offense, because RJ would rather pound the ball for a hot minute. Either Thibs benches him, ban him from taking more than 2 dribbles and especially no more chucking 3s!!!
