Really proud of this Hawks 🦅basketball team as a unit. I know the Grizzlies fought them extremely hard with a Memphis win but what more can you say about Ja👍Morant. He is that guy that everybody pays tickets to go and see. Not only is Ja aggressive towards the rim but his quickness running up the court gives him the ultimate edge every time. I know Trae 👀didn't get his game going until the 3rd 🍿quarter but that was quite the quarter to enjoy by Trae. Everybody for the Hawks thrived whether it was Capela, Sadiiq Bey, Hunter, or Bogdanovic and Okongwu guys just got ready for this match-up. People don't understand that Grizzlies play every team they go against with physical💪strength. Hawks clearly came super close and Capela 3 or 4 shot blocks
is what I saw as a huge plus. Nobody likes
losing but I am proud of my Hawks period.
And Dejounte Murray's 🏀sharing of the basketball was a true sight to see.
I see Grizzlies got a shooter in Kennard.
His production will help Grizzlies plenty.
Good job Memphis on getting this one.

Ja needs a true nba style in his game all these Westbrook/harden type players, fast af on the blow by no real bball move like a jordan or Kobe fadeaway, that only wins regular season games and gets you on ESPN. If Ja don’t become a true PG he’ll never be a champion

Glad to see Ja back at work. Hopefully they start randomly drug testing him like they started in the beginning of the season.

After their previous victory at home over the Pacers, the Atlanta Hawks were looking to get above the .500 mark last night against the Memphis Grizzlies. But once again, it didn’t go well as planned for the Hawks and sank to a 123-119 loss at State Farm Arena.
Trae Young put up 28 points for Atlanta, but their comeback was fatally cut short by Ja Morant, who scored 27 for the Grizzlies, and Memphis just played a better game than the Hawks have thought. This was Atlanta’s golden chance to hold off the Raptors for the #8 spot for the NBA playoffs, and the Hawks totally blew it because of that loss.
To make matters even worse, if Toronto wins and Atlanta loses tomorrow in their next games, the Hawks could be kicked out of their playoff spot, and their run to the postseason would be over before it begins unless they win their two games in the play-in tournament against the Raptors and possibly the Chicago Bulls. Now with their playoff lives on the line, the Atlanta Hawks are now desperate to win the next one when the Cleveland Cavaliers come charging into the ATL. Can the Atlanta Hawks make their final stand for victory and win before the Raptors, or will the swords of the Cavaliers be the ones to deliver the fatal blow on their playoff run?
Find out for yourself by tuning in tomorrow night to see if the home crowd can help the Hawks make their last stand for victory from State Farm Arena in Atlanta!
