Looks like a play-off push is underway. The Wizards will be an interesting team to watch. They have skills that's for sure. But as the late John Thompson said, "you also need a few thugs down on the low post." Gafford is doing a great job. Just imagine if he had some more quality help. This team can be dangerous…..

Trae 📸⭐was having a blast from last night
for the Atlanta🦅 Hawks. I know Kuzma👀 and Beal appeared to be way too much on the Wizards but congratulations to Washington on beating us. I really hope Sadiiq💪 and Bogdanovic🏀 continue to be the sharp shooters Atlanta needs them to be off the bench. In a lot of ways I like what Bey brings because he can get hot 🔥pretty quick. Real excited to see Capela and Hunter having the games they played too. Capela has been huge all season since being back in Hawks starting lineup.

Hawks are frauds. Trade Trae he is to small and he doesn’t listen to coaching. I guess this is Nate fault

The winning streak for the Atlanta Hawks was pretty much short-lived after a 119-116 loss at the hands of the Washington Wizards.
It was Quin Snyder's first debut as the new head coach for Atlanta, but the Wizards came to town and ruined the party for everyone at State Farm Arena. Trae Young scored 31 points throughout the contest, with 16 more added from Bogdan Bogdanovic. It was pretty much neck and neck for both teams. But the Hawks end up disappointed at the final buzzer and have themselves to blame for it.
If the Hawks are going to make the playoffs, they better win the rest of their games and fast, and time is quickly running out! The homestand concludes with the Portland Trail Blazers make their stop in the 404. Will the Atlanta Hawks end their homestand in a winning fashion, or will Portland spoil the good times on the home crowd?
Find out by tuning in this Friday to see if the Hawks can end their homestand with a winning record from State Farm Arena in Atlanta!

People bringing up Beal's lower PPG this year as a knock on his game clearly don't watch the wizards. Beal's effective field goal percentage is .567, on track to be the highest of his career. His efficiency has been awesome this year, he just has to share shots with two other high-usage players in Kuz and KP. The only real qualm you can have w/ his performance this year is his injury troubles

These teams are pretty bad. Really ugly basketball. Tough to watch. Bad products, both teams, and especially Trae Young. I could block his shots. The dude is just not big enough. It's hard to watch. Yuck 🤮
